I feel like I am a little behind on journeling the last month. We had a great time in June spending 10 days with Michelle & Nate's cute family in California. We flew out of Provo on Alligient and it was wonderful. Short flight and a short drive to the airport. Baby girl did awesome. She wanted to go up and down the aisle to meet everyone but didn't fuss too much when we confined her to the back of the plane. Her cute, friendly personality is always making friends.
Our time in Cali was perfect. Michelle's neighbors were out of town and had graciously offered their apartment to us so we had plenty of room and a crib for Emma. So much better than paying for a hotel or sleeping on an air mattress.
Here are some of the highlights of the trip........
Hiking around Muir Woods and playing at Muir Beach (sadly it was too cold to swim). Emma isn't a big fan of sand on her feet or hands but she LOVES to climb.
We drove down to a reservoir that had a fun beach and swimming area. Wish I could remember the name......Emma did better in the sand there with her shoes on. Nate met up with us and we went to dinner and did some shopping at the outlets.
Michelle and I took Brooks and Emma and spent a day at the Water World while Nate worked and G relaxed at home with Hadley. The water was a little cold but that didn't stop Emma from being her usual fish self.
