July was full of family fun with McCoy's and Hadley's coming and going. Michelle and her crew got moved into their house up in South Jordan the end of June so between our 2 houses we were able to host all of our family.
We had a lot of fun with the McCoy's the first week of July and after they left my family started arriving. Richard and Cherise came in on a Monday night and then my parents and siblings came Tuesday night. Wednesday the brothers and Dad left for their hiking and camping trip and then Thursday we all met up in Park City for the weekend. We had great big rooms and had a lot of fun swimming, playing tennis, eating yummy food, watching movies and even taking family pictures. Shandy had gotten home from her mission that Tuesday so she came with us (bless her soul!) and Chloe also came up and joined us. Grandma and Grandpa Clyde ended up not coming but Grandma and Grandpa Hadley came for Saturday night and Sunday. It was really nice being able to relax and enjoy being with each other.
Sunday we left Park City after going to sacrament meeting and then and went to Temple Square to walk around.
The next week we went back an forth from Salt Lake area and Provo. We spent a day at the rec center swimming, roamed around BYU (of course) and showed Pat where all his classes would be, spent time with family and friends and went to parks and splash pads for the little kids. The adults even got to go do a session all together which was my favorite part!
We kept it low key so that Richard and Cherise could go see friends and Spencer could spend time with Shandy and her family. He was going to propose while everyone was here but ended waiting a little longer and did it right before he left to go back to Oakland.
I soooooooo wish we could get my parents down here to Utah to live. But alas that dream is still probably in the distant future.
