The best part about having an 18 month old is the fact he/she is able to go to nursery. Sophia Rose McCoy turned 18 months this past Sunday and she attended nursery for the very first time. We sneaked several peaks through the window and she appeared to be loving it.
Some Sophie facts:
- Weight: 25 lbs
- Height 32 inches
- Loves to run around and especially loves playing with her big sister Emma
- She gives lots of kisses and hugs on command and even not on command
- Snuggles with mommy and daddy every day
- knows where her head, ears, eyes, mouth, teeth and belly are located
- walks around singing and tries hard to imitate the ABC song
- cries every morning when her Daddy leaves for work and runs to him when he gets home
- has curly blonde hair
- says the following words: dada, momma, 'pease' (please), 'da too' (thank you), ball, 'top it' (stop it), NO!, yessss, 'mema' (Emma), baby, 'pat, pat, pat, bass off' (from little Einsteins), dog, hot, 'dis' (this)
- She loves her baby doll and her cousin baby Porter. Both of them she kisses and tries to drag them around by the neck. Porter isn't a big fan :)
- loves animals - especially dogs and cats
- makes sounds for the following animals: snake, dog, cat, tiger/lion, bear, horse, elephant, monkey
- she is our sweet and sassy baby! She will cuddle but is also very independent and a bit obstinate and stubborn (takes after her big sister)
- still naps at least once a day
- enjoys being in the water and swimming with her floaty but doesn't like splash pads where the water showers down on her
- at the park her go-to thing is the swings
- likes to look at books but doesn't usually last through an entire book before she goes and gets a new one
- climbs or tries to climb up on everything
We love this sweet and sassy baby girl!
