This definitely hasn't been BYU's best season. We are currently 1-5 and it has been painful to watch us lose each week. Matt started off great and then hurt his knee after the first game. They treated it as a deep tendon bruise but we found out this last week that he actually has a broken knee cap. He played 4 games on it before they finally took an x-ray and got an accurate diagnosis. He will have surgery this week and hopefully they can appeal to the NCAA compliance board for a medical redshirt. He is super bummed but we are hopeful he will have another season.

We took Emma to the opening game. It was almost 100 degrees so G took her home at halftime.
We snuck into the media room and watched his interview post game in person.
Matt was also featured on the weekly Kilani Sitaki show on BYUtv. We got to go and sit in the audience and cheer him on!
