We had a fun but very busy Memorial Day weekend. The girls and I kicked it off by spending all day Friday up with Gma and Gpa McCoy's house with Michelle and Sharla's kids. Since Sharla just had a baby and Michelle and Nate had 15 houses to look at we decided to make a daycare out of their house for the day. It was crazy but we managed quite well and enjoyed having all the kids playing together.
That night we met up with April to have her spend the weekend with us. It was so good seeing her!
Saturday morning we headed with our friends the Jeffs to spend the weekend at their cabin in Fairview. Actually, Garlan and Randy had left Thursday so they could hunt all day Friday without us. Last year we had much better weather since it rained pretty much the entire time we were there but we still had a wonderful time being with each other. We are truly blessed to have such great friends!
We got back Monday mid morning and that afternoon hosted a BBQ for my cousin Courtney and her sweet family. It's been years since we've seen each other and it was so great to spend the afternoon and night catching up. Hopefully it won't be as many years till we see each other again!
The rest of the week Michelle and her crew stayed with us while they are waiting to close on their house later this month. Emma is in cousin heaven and I'm so happy to have my sister here!
