Sophie's 1st Birthday!

Our baby girl is 1! I can't believe it's been a year since she was born. She is a joy and a delight. We are so grateful she is a part of our family. We celebrated last night with Grandma & Grandpa McCoy and Sharla & Dal. She did a pretty good job demolishing her cake.

 Here are some of the things she is doing:

• Walks along furniture but still prefers to crawl
• sometimes she crawls on her feet and keeps her  knees up off the ground
• starting to let go of things and attempting to balance for a few seconds
• busted 3 top teeth through in the past 2 months
• babbles and moves NON STOP!
• prefers to have mom within touching distance :)
• lights up when big sister talks and plays with her
• shakes her head and hands and dances the moment music comes on
• doesn't say distinct words but is starting to say "mamama and dadada" in relationship to us
• she LOVES the neighbor cat and could follow it around all day if she could
• starting to occasionally take just one nap a day
• eats pretty much anything we put in front of her
• transitioned to regular milk!
• in size 4 diapers
• loves to flirt and facetime her Uncle Spencer
• races across the room to Daddy when he gets home from work
• waves "hi" and "bye"
• She has a lot of energy and is becoming more and more stubborn
