As Garlan and I talk about all our blessings we can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for what the Lord has blessed us with over the years. We still have public and private trials and some days are harder than others but overall we are truly blessed and happy. As we blend the two Holidays - Thanksgiving and Christmas - we would like to list some of the many blessings that bring us true joy!
1. Our beautiful 2 little girls that teach us humility, love and joy
2. Having the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives, giving us the knowledge of eternal families and the gift of salvation through the Atonement of our Savior.
3. Extended family that loves and supports us and that we love and support
4. Healthy bodies and minds (most of the time)
5. The sleep that we do get! haha
6. A house that we can call our own to foster and cultivate an atmosphere for the Spirit to reside
7. The Book of Mormon - another true witness of Christ, full of teachings that when applied help us to become more like Christ
8. Prayer - the power and ability to talk with a loving Heavenly Father, to seek his guidance, peace, support, and love
9. The Temple where we have been able to make covenants to each other and God so that if live worthy of the blessings we can be a family forever.
10. Great jobs that keep our minds working and money in the bank
11. Emma's twirling and Sophie's little head shake when music comes on
12. Creating new family traditions and making life long memories
13. Friends that laugh and cry with us and are always there when you need them!
14. Facetime - so Emma can talk with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Spencer every day!
