We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Freedom with our family and friends. Darek and Amberli and their 3 cute kids came up from Vegas to stay with us over the weekend. Amberli and I ran the Freedom 10K then we met up with the dads and kids to watch the parade under a big shady tree. Then the kids got to ride an airplane ride at the little fair - Emma was in heaven. After we were tired of the Provo festivities we headed back to our place to nap, watch the world cup and BBQ with Gma and Gpa McCoy plus Amy, Dave and Jess and their kids, and Uncle Michael and his mother. Oh and of course Uncle Spencer was here too! It was a full house with lots of good food.
That night we co-hosted with our neighbors the Jeffs a huge neighborhood Sidewalk of Fire party. We rented a bounce house, had cotton candy and snow cones plus lots of games and food. To end the night we had our very own firework show out on the street. It was a great way to celebrate over 200 of our friends and neighbors. We even got to meet quite a few new people from our new ward boundaries.
Sunday we rested and went to church and then headed up to Riverton to Gma and Gpa McCoy's for more food and family. Another great night!
Monday we hit up BYU campus, ate at the Cannon Center with 1500 EFY and Sports Camp kids and then Amberli and I did some shopping while the guys took the kids up to Riverton to play in the water with Grandma.
A lot of fun crammed in to a few days. We are always sad to see family go.......maybe one day more of them will move close by.
