San Diego Vacation

 I totally forgot to journal our San Diego vacation. The first week of April BYU sent G to a conference at the beautiful resort Loews on Coronado in San Diego. Sophie and I flew out and met him on the second day of the conference and then we stayed through the weekend as an early anniversary getaway. G's parents were kind enough to watch Emma for us so that we could enjoy a somewhat alone vacation. Sophie did awesome on both flights and enjoyed her first pool time with mom and dad. The weather was beautiful and we both got lots of sun and collected way too many shells and sand dollars to take home to Emma. Their spa and work-out facilities were amazing and I spent several hours each day hitting them both up. G was just enjoying being able to relax and read a good book. We even had visitors a couple of the days. Amber and her kids came down and spent an afternoon with Sophie and me and Roby & Brittney brought their girls two different days to hang with us at the pool. Overall it was a very nice vacation. Can't wait to go back!!!!
