4 Months Old!

This beautiful girl is 4 months old! Here are some of the highlights of her little life..............

• Emma started rolling over about 2 weeks ago. She had been trying for awhile and would lay on the floor screaming because she couldn't get over all the way. Then one Saturday I put her down to show our neighbors how close she was getting and bam! she rolls over. We all started cheering so loud that it scared her and made her cry. Uncle Spencer came running up and got the next round on his camera. Garlan was taking a nap so sadly he missed the first roll.
• Emma also cut her first tooth! I swear she's speeding things up to give me anxiety. She had been a little extra fussy last week and I said to G jokingly, "I wonder if she's getting a tooth." Aunt Amberli discovered that it wasn't a joke and that she has a little white tooth appearing on the bottom right side of her gums. 
• Emma loves sitting up in her saucer to place with toys. She was getting so bored and annoyed laying on her back or tummy. Now she will sit and play for over an hour. I get soooooo much more done!
• Emma is talking more and more. In the morning, when she first wakes up we will bring her in bed with us for "family time" and she will lay there and coo and coo at us. It's my favorite time of the day with her.
• Emma has been sleeping through the night since she was about 6 weeks old but this last week she has had 3 nights where she has gone 10+ hours of straight sleep. She just skipped her usual 5 o'clock feeding. Even though I don't mind that early feeding, it sure has been nice having a few extra uninterrupted hours of sleep. Let's hope it continues!
• Emma is still our little bald baby! Not sure when that will change but we love her anyway.
• Emma is our little fish. We could spend every day in the pool! She splashes and splashes until she wears herself out for a good, long nap.
• Emma loves her Gpa's and Gma's! We skype Garlan's parents almost once a week and she perks right up when she hears Grandma McCoy's voice. My mom has been around a lot this summer and Emma loves being rocked by her! Both Grandpa's had a bday this last week so Emma put together a special picture for them.

 

• Not sure what her 4 month stats are.....we'll add them after we see the doctor next week.
• We love our little Emma and can't seem to hold, cuddle, hug, and kiss her enough! Her big, blue eyes brighten our days. What a joy she is to our family.
