Yellowstone National Park

 Part 2 of our amazing trip was Yellowstone National Park. We rented a big cabin about 10 minutes from the park entrance. We got to the cabin, unpacked and relaxed. The next morning we got up and headed to the park.

We did about 10 hours of driving but the girls did awesome. We stopped at........Gibbons Falls

Then we did lunch at Canyon Village and got ice cream and saw more bison.

After lunch we went to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone for amazing but heart dropping views.

We drove back through Hayden Valley. Saw lots of female elk and even 3 male elk.

At mud volcano the bison were right up by us. The girls LOVED all the animals. We ended the day at Old Faithful. Due to being in the bathroom the girls and I missed it rupturing by 2 minutes. We walked around for awhile and waited for the next one to go off. It was really cool.

The next day we stopped in town and shopped for a bit. Then we headed to the north side of the park to Mammoth Hot Springs. We hiked around and then ate lunch.

Then we headed to Lamar Valley. We finally saw a black bear! We also saw a coyote, more bison and more elk.

We loved our time on the road at both these places. Memories for a lifetime!
