COVID School

School has been online since mid March. It wasn't their favorite because the girls missed their teachers and friends.  We had to set up our old computer so both girls could work on stuff together. We learned a lot about submitting work online, zoom classes and meetings and how to survive being stuck at home all day long. Slowly the parks and a few places outdoors were no longer off limits but most places have remained shut down. The school did free breakfast and lunch every day so we'd walk or ride our bikes over at noon and pick those up. The girls tried a lot of new things and it helped on the grocery bill. The last week of the school the teachers did a drive by parade. The girls decorated our drive way to show their love. It wasn't a great way to end the school year but they are young and resilient and this won't last forever......hopefully.

Pres Trump gave everyone stimulus checks. We spent our quickly to help the economy and our backyard. We bought a trampoline and huge swing set. Who needs parks when you have one in your back yard!

Uncle Michael and Aunt Donna started their mission up at the church's camp ground in AF canyon. We went and spent a day helping them get settled and enjoying nature. Girls camps and boys camps have been canceled for the entire summer but they still get to serve up there.
