We are still under fairly strict quarantine throughout most of the world/USA. Church is home centered and has been since about mid March. It was definitely a prophetic change for President Nelson to have started Come Follow Me, 2 hour church and other home centered Gospel learning changes over a year ago. Those in the church should have already been studying together so the transition though culturally difficult hasn't been very doctrinally difficult. The girls and I miss primary for sure and it's been hard to really step back in my calling and allow families to take the sole responsibility in teaching their children. The church and our bishop has asked most presidencies to step back for awhile and let families grow with this change. I am hopeful church will begin again but probably not till the end of the summer.
I feel we are living out many prophecies from the last days. As a family we have refocused our food storage efforts and pray for peace and safety. The COVID virus tends to be mostly deadly for those who are older and with comorbidities but there are outlier cases that the media feeds on and it has caused a lot of fear and chaos. We are not overwhelmed yet at the hospital but are preparing. Right now we have to be screened before we come into work and there are no visitors allowed. This has scare a lot of people from coming to the hospital and we are getting more and more patients who come in too late and not with COVID.
With all the chaos in the world and the recent loss of Uncle Steven this Easter season we are celebrating the knowledge of Eternal Life and forever families because of our Savior Jesus Christ's resurrection and the peace and joy it brings us. I know He Lives and we will too.
