Kindergarten Graduation and Marathon Finisher

Emma has had the BEST kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Brown has taught her so much and she has excelled in reading, writing and math. She's above average in all 3 subjects which makes my momma heart happy that her hard work has paid off. Emma has also made a lot of new fun friends - one of them being Mrs. Brown's youngest daughter Kenzie who was in their class. Mrs. Brown also is a big time runner and has a running program for kids across the district to complete a marathon by the end of the year. Every day throughout the year they run a certain amount and then at the end of the year they run the last 1.3 miles all together. I ran (with Bella in the stroller) the final 1.3 while G and Sophie helped to hand out medals. It was so fun and it was one more thing Emma came to love this past year - running and being healthy. I've also found out that she is very fast! Most days she finished second in her class according to her teacher.
