This Christmas instead of our normal advent calendar we are joining the Church's initiative to Light The World with the love of the Savior. Each day focuses on a different Christ-like attribute with suggestions of service around that attribute. It's been a great way to teach our girls more about service and the Savior.
We put up a Calendar because Emma loves marking things off when she completes them (I wonder who she takes after).
One day we focused on the scriptures and after laying Bella down I found Emma like this - marking her scriptures or in her words "marking about Jesus".
We took around neighborhood gifts, donated toys and clothes to shelters and dropped off treats/meals to those who were sick or sad.
